Initial Curing Period

Minimum Re-Entry Time: Occupants should not re-enter the building for a minimum of 24 hours after the spray foam application is complete. This period allows the foam to cure and for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to dissipate to safe levels.

Extended Curing (Optional): Depending on the project size, weather conditions, or specific product used, this re-entry period may be extended. Our team will provide you with the exact re-entry time based on these factors.

Post-Installation Ventilation

Continued Ventilation: After the initial 24-hour curing period, it’s recommended to keep the work area well-ventilated for an additional 24 to 48 hours. This step helps ensure that any lingering odors or chemicals are fully dispersed.

Monitoring Air Quality: Our team will assess the air quality before re-entry to confirm that VOC levels have dropped to acceptable levels. If necessary, we will take additional measures to further ventilate the space.

Safety Precautions Upon Re-Entry

Odor Check: Upon re-entering, occupants should perform a smell check. If a strong chemical odor persists, we recommend leaving the area and increasing ventilation. Odors typically indicate the presence of residual VOCs.

Sensitive Individuals: Individuals with respiratory conditions, allergies, or chemical sensitivities should take extra precautions and may choose to extend their re-entry time or wear protective gear.

Final Inspection and Clearance

Walkthrough Inspection: Before allowing full re-entry, our team will conduct a final inspection to ensure that all safety measures have been followed and that the area is safe for occupancy.

Ongoing Monitoring and Support
